Start thinking World Cup for Rugby

As well as our tourism directories which you are listed on (Destination NZ and Great New Zealand), we also run a number of other sites including two high ranking New Zealand Rugby World Cup sites, both with strong travel focus.

It is expected that there will be around 35,000 foreign rugby fans at the semi finals and the final in Auckland in October 2011. In addition there will be many more travellers who will not be attending the games. These tourists will also be travelling extensively throughout the country during, and also pre and post the event.

Although it is still 3 years away, we are already getting a steady stream of enquiries about the 2011 Rugby World Cup and travel arrangements around this event. We have a newsletter that we are sending out to keep these people informed as the time comes closer.
